When we started Daily Kindness we did so initially because we recognized the power of KindHearts when they get together. Whether it was displays of compassion and support on FaceBook or simply the way so many good people are in their daily lives, people were helping people have better, happier days.
I am absolutely thrilled to see so many of you taking the stories of kindness here and sharing them with others using the Tell-A-Friend form or the FaceBook Likes. Believe it or not, some of our stories already have OVER 2,500 FaceBook likes and tens of thousands of views. Think that we might be changing the world one KindHeart at a time?
Along these lines perhaps some of you know the story of the little boy and the starfish and how this tender child makes a difference. I first heard of it decades ago and it has always stayed with me. Oddly, I have never thought how to apply that to my daily life until this video reminded me how it’s possible. Many teachers will smile a knowing smile as they recognize how many ‘starfish’ they help each day.
Take a couple minutes and watch the video and then forward it to everyone you’d like using the Tell-A-Friend form and/or the Like button. This is what we’re all about, KindHearts. Making the world better one ‘starfish.” at a time.
And if you’d like to use the comment form below to tell me and others who your starfish is or is going to be I promise to read every single one.

‘Every human being is a special Gift of God to mankind and the world. He of she alone has a special message to deliver, a special song to sing and a special love to bestow’ and no one else can take his/her place. So why not use the privilege and make that unique difference? Be a blessing!

Showing this to my daughter who was crying the other day because she felt the world would not miss her if she weren’t here. I told her that her life impacts all of us in her family and she can make a difference in the world- even if its only a small one.

Thanks for this awesome messege of love and kindness, Like the little boy of the story each person should be the becaon of light and God’s love and kindness.Like Mother Tresa who’s death anniversary we are celebrating soon, show the world kindness and love to everyone we meet. Like what mother said when someone meets ours he or she must leave being a better person.God’s love in us should manifest to the suffering world.God bless all members of kindhearts community.Regards Stella Joyce… Bangalore, India.

Patch Adams had it down to a tee – ever since I saw the movie I try to smile and say hello to anyone I pass on the street – It’s amazing what the gift of a smile will do – doesn’t cost you anything and could make all the difference in the world to the person you smiled at………….try it – it feels REALLY GOOD!!
